Turkey's first desert solar photovoltaic power station
In 2016, the 4.71 MW photovoltaic power station built in Isparta, Turkey, was successfully connected to the grid. The project covers an area of 80,000 square meters and has an annual power generation capacity of 7.5 million kWh, which can meet the electricity needs of about 2,500 households. The power generated is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 3,000 tons.
