The largest solar photovoltaic power station in Central and Eastern Europe in 2010
The Czech Welbeck solar power station with an installed capacity of 35 MW was the ninth largest photovoltaic power station in the world in 2010. Welbeck, 20 kilometers away from Prague, has ideal conditions for building a large solar power station. The entire power station can meet the energy consumption of about 10,000 households. Since it was put into operation, the power station has maintained good operation and achieved an excess power generation efficiency of 16%. The scientific power station design and efficient and reliable modules have brought investors a stable and considerable return on investment.
